To capture the austere qualites of the Sea Ranch, Al Boeke suggested reaching out to photographer Ansel Adams. The fine quality of this set of images suggests they might have succeded in bringing the venerable artist to take on the project. It remains unknown if he did or who, in fact, is responsible for the set. Regardless, these images stand as an idealized view of the site, a measure against which the aspirations of the developers, designers, and investors, can be gauged.
