Marketing consultants for The Sea Ranch pitched the community as "the most unusual second-home colony ever conceived by nature and man." Marion Conrad, publicist for the project, leveraged her connections within the design field and her unique writing style to successfully put, as project leader Al Boeke recalled, "Sea Ranch on the map". Her work transformed the careers of the project design team and communicated their modern approach to middle-class Californians.
Below are selections of this marketing material, early design reviews, as well as feedback from visitors to The Sea Ranch following its opening.
